Cockington Apple Day Food & Crafts Festival Review

I love Cockington Apple Day! For me it signifies the end of Summer and the beginning of Autumn (my favourite season).
We were lucky, again, this year to have fabulous weather, sunny but crisp and as always there was plenty to see and do.

The children stuffed themselves with apples layered with toffee sauce on sticks that they made themselves.

We got to see the old victorian apple press in action. Apologies for the rubbish photo quality, I left my fancy camera at home :-(

There were two marquees filled with stalls selling all sorts of lovely things from home made preserves to gorgeous handmade jewellery.
And the best part was that the children were entertained all day with punch & judy, face painting, magic show and craft activities, leaving us adults to sample a pint of two of some tasty devon made cider.

In all a great day was had by all, can't wait till next year now x
